Whenever possible, BLS Cargo enters into partnerships with customers for many years. This boosts mutual confidence, while each side knows how the other works and they can work together for continuous improvement in the transport service. Our customers include leading European operators such as Ambrogio, Hangartner, Hupac, Transfracht and TRW.

BLS Cargo provides transport services on the Swiss network for RAlpin, the operator of the “rolling highway” between Freiburg i. Br. and Novara. This means that we transport over 80% of all lorries carried through Switzerland by rail.

Import / export traffic

BLS Cargo has worked with Transfracht to build up import / export operations into and from Switzerland. For example, BLS Cargo operates two trains a day coming from the North Sea ports into Switzerland on behalf of DB Schenker.
