Employees
Customisation and closeness to the customer are high priorities at BLS Cargo. For us, the skills, commitment and many years of experience of our employees are critical factors in our success. Our employees are able to provide our customers with all the support and advice they need from a single source.
Thanks to the strong growth in the transport market, BLS Cargo has over the years continuously created new jobs in Switzerland and the border towns of Weil am Rhein (D) and Domodossola (I). BLS Cargo employs about 400 people who carry out their work conscientiously and with the benefit of many years of railway expertise. While about 100 staff are directly employed by BLS Cargo and its subsidiaries, a further 300 work indirectly for BLS Cargo at BLS AG, including locomotive drivers and workshop staff.
