BLS Cargo Nord

We are proud to introduce BLS Cargo Nord: the new name for the former Crossrail Benelux. From our location in Antwerp – close to Europe's second-largest seaport – we are building on more than 20 years of experience in rail freight transport.

Our team of around 300 employees organises and handles BLS Cargo's transport through Belgium and Germany. From our head office in Antwerp, our colleagues in the planning department and the Traffic Centre are available every day as direct contacts for our customers.

With around 180 of our own train drivers and wagon masters based in Antwerp, Zeebrugge, Genk and Aachen, our trains run on the important Rhine-Alpine corridor and the east/west axis. BLS Cargo Nord plays a key role in the BLS Cargo logistics chain. We take full responsibility for our transport solutions in Belgium and Germany – efficiently organised, customer-oriented and with tailor-made solutions. 

Anchored in the region, multilingual, flexible and always ready to respond quickly to changing conditions in rail transport – that is the promise of BLS Cargo, which we deliver on locally.
